Hey Fan Retreat Team!
I saw your post on VueJobs for a Front-End Web Developer and think I would be a great fit on improving your current site and building out new features. I'm a full-stack freelance developer with 7 years of experience and love working with JavaScript, especially React & Vue. I'm also a big sports fan and looking forward to this coming baseball season (NY Yankees fan), and am also a fan of the Rangers, Knicks, and sadly the Jets.. I'm also a pretty avid golfer so I follow the PGA tour as well and was able to catch Tiger Wood's return this past week. I mention this as I've never really gotten to travel too much for sporting events as I've felt like it can be pretty overwhelming trying to piece together from different ticket and travel sites and feel like your site solves that issue. I love the idea of being able to get tickets along with all of the over stuff ya have to deal with when traveling in 1 place, and am curious what the response has been in the marketplace for you guys since you launched in 2015.
Getting back to me, I've launched several complex MVP's for small startups and enterprise clients which have helped them achieve their goals such as bringing on seed money and growing an active user base to bring in revenue. My clients include The Oyster Common, Strong Analytics, Eat In Chef & Bond. I've also been brought on to improve and maintain existing projects as well, most notably with JPD Studio & Play Nice Together. You can check out more of my work at https://larrylaski.com. Also, one of my recent projects was for a data science company called Strong
Analytic's where I built out a product for them to ingest business data
from different sources for companies and then display a set of
forecasted data for each source anywhere from 1 week to 12 months down
the road. I handled building out the back-end in Laravel Spark &
Postgres with TDD which primarily consisted of integrating the different
data sources API's (such as Google Analytics, Stripe, Paypal, or even custom MySQL queries)
and then building out an internal API for the front-end. They handled
generating the forecasted data, and then I also build out the front-end
was a full single page application built in React, React Router 4, and
React Ant Design) I also built out the cloud infrastructure using AWS
and Terraform. While the product isn't fully released yet, I would be
happy to give you guys a demo.
You can also check out a small game I created built in Laravel, Vue.js,
and jQuery UI that involves matching twitter handles to the tweet from
that handle. The game is available to play at twittergame.larrylaski.com and you can view the code at https://github.com/llaski/twittermatchgame.
A bit more about me - I really enjoy helping founders and visionaries bring their ideas to market, gain traction, and hit their next milestone, whether it be fundraising, gaining users, or gaining revenue. I'm able to combine my web development expertise with my product management and founder experience to help ensure what we build meets your business goals and puts you in the possible position to succeed. Communication is often my top priority, ensuring we are always on the same page and were both meeting each others needs.
The next step would be a 15 - 30 minute call to chat about project details and see if we would be a good fit. You can schedule a call with me at https://calendly.com/larry-laski/30-minute-meeting.
Thanks!
Larry Laski
