Hey There,
I saw your post on Craigslist for a Full Stack Developer that can migrate your site from hardcoded HTML to PHP & make it AMP friendly. I'm a freelance developer with 7 years of experience and really enjoy working with PHP & JavaScript among a host of other technologies and believe I'd be able to help convert your site. Also while I'm not super familiar with AMP I know some basic principles of it and have some initial questions for your site around if you're looking to only have an AMP site or have your normal site as well as an AMP site (since AMP pages would only be for mobile), how large your current CSS code is (believe the AMP max is 50kb), if you have any third party JS being loaded, etc... Would be happy to work through the AMP requirements with you and figure out what we would need to modify to make the site AMP compatible.
As for me, I've launched several complex MVP's for small startups and enterprise clients which have helped them achieve their goals such as bringing on seed money and growing an active user base to bring in revenue. My clients include The Oyster Common, Strong Analytics, Eat In Chef & Bond. I've also been brought on to improve and maintain existing projects as well, most notably with JPD Studio & Play Nice Together. One of my more recent projects was Eat In Chef, a personal chef booking service. The core tech stack was Laravel, MySQL, Bootstrap, jQuery, React, and Redux. I also managed the servers using Laravel Forge, Digital Ocean, and AWS. While I usually like to keep the code simple, I found using React & Redux was a good fit in certain places on the site that involved a lot of complexity, such as the advanced search filtering and Chef booking process. You can check out more of my work at https://larrylaski.com.
Just to make sure I don't waste your time, I typically work on a flat project rate with a minimum of $5k, and most projects in the range of $10k - $20k. If the scope is undefined or the project is open-ended, I'm open to a weekly rate as well.
The next step would be a 15 - 30 minute call to chat about project details and see if we would be a good fit. You can schedule a call with me at https://calendly.com/larry-laski/30-minute-meeting.
Regards,
Larry
