Hey Richard,
I saw your post on VueJobs for a Frontend Developer and would love to find out more! I actually just worked on a project for a data science company called Strong Analytics and had a lot of fun developing so it I'd love to keep a similar trend going! Also while I'm not in the science space I've always been interested in how scientists actually find the results they do from a practical standpoint as opposed to the "TV science magic", so would love to learn more on how you guys sensors work and what kind of research there used on.
To expand a bit more on experience, I've launched several complex MVP's for small startups and enterprise clients which have helped them achieve their goals such as bringing on seed money and growing an active user base to bring in revenue. My clients include The Oyster Common, Strong Analytics, Eat In Chef & Bond. One of the more recent projects was with the company I previously mentioned called Strong Analytics where I developed a platform for their new product called Forecasted.io, which ingests business data from different sources for companies and then display a set of forecasted data for each source anywhere from 1 week to 12 months down the road. I handled building out the back-end in Laravel Spark & Postgres with TDD which primarily consisted of integrating the different data sources API's (such as Google Analytics, Stripe, Paypal, or even custom MySQL queries) and then building out an internal API for the front-end. They handled generating the forecasted data, and then I also build out the front-end was a full single page application built in React, React Router 4, and React Ant Design) I also built out the cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. While the product isn't fully released yet, I would be happy to give you guys a demo. Also while that project was built with React I'm also very comfortable with Vue, and you can check out a small game I created built with Vue (along with Laravel & jQuery UI) that involves matching Twitter handles to the tweet from that handle. The game is available to play at twittergame.larrylaski.com and you can view the code at https://github.com/llaski/twittermatchgame. You can also check out more of my work at https://larrylaski.com.
Just to make sure I don't waste your time, I'm a freelance developer located in NYC and am very comfortable working remotely. I'd be sure to provide weekly updates (or daily if so desired) and typically am available to chat on Slack during usual business hours. The next step would be a 15 - 30 minute call to chat about project details and see if we would be a good fit. You can schedule a call with me at https://calendly.com/larry-laski/30-minute-meeting.
Regards,
Larry
